a day in my eyes

I drove down to the used bookstore looking for some answers
Had a good feeling I'd find what I needed
Some poetry to read while bathing my sore body
And now I have it sitting here damp on my table
Heres to another word for the universe




I can't belive how much stuff we have



Later on a seabus ride
A spontanious decision
I found my place
Sat next to a man painting a potrait of his girlfriend
I said I Haven't been on this boat since 1995
He said I hope you do it more often







A new favorite spot discovered

The lengths we take to make spoiled brats happy.




Why does carving your name give you that sense of immortality?




Then walking down the downtown streets
I spot a shop window
With the perfect dress
For this girl on my mind




A visit to one of my favorite spots in the city
The Granville bridge
Not many views compare to that one
Cars driving to the sky
And the market down below
Take a look the next time you pass by




I live for a perfect view




Each and every day
I like to face a challenge
Tom & Jerry's 1.5lb burger looked like a good apponent
Menu said if I eat it all, the meal is free

So I sit down to a man named Stan
As i take on todays challenge
A black man from San Diego
Here to do some business
Told me about the Navy
And I told him where to visit
Recommended a place to catch some wicked jazz
And got some life advice









To finish my day
A walk with my dog Maggie
Remembered the ball chucker, so my hands were slobber free
A sunset framed up our perfect outing
We tire each other out
Every time





Watching the final light out side, while my rice was cooking
A hawk in my backyard tree watches while I drink my tea
But the damn crows, they always come to chase him
God, i love to watch that huge bird fly.
